Scope and content
Also known as the Residence Books they were originally kept by the Scholars' Butler and in the later 20th century by the Chief Clerk. After 1982, the volumes were produced as loose sheets. The books record undergraduate residence by students' names. They are arranged by years and terms within each year. The University requires that these are kept as evidence of residence.
