Provision for the summoning of general meetings of fellows was included in the statutes of 1860, but in 1926 in accordance with the universities Act 1923, a Governing Body consisting of the master and all graduate fellows was established to meet annually at the request of the Council. Its acta are recorded in the Council minutes.
