Note
The dinner is always held on 27 December in the Combination Room and contains no poultry or feathered game. There is a Ladies Dinner, held separately in the Wordsworth Room and organised by the President's wife. Any Fellow who has turned 80 or 90 years of age since the previous year makes a brief address. These speeches are recorded and are held on CD in the Archive. (see SJAV/2/3/2-3)
