Scope and content

Includes the musical score for the St. John's College Song; sheet music with Latin lyrics for the Lady Margaret Boat Song; handwritten songs for post-Bumps suppers; a poem by Mike Chapman (LMBC 1973-76); and the decorated cover, annotated & decorated sheet music and sheet music for orchestra for the Lady Margaret Waltz, composed by J.L. Whitaker.

The latter includes loose front page of the Lady Margaret waltz score, annotated by Jessie L. North, who was married to Harry North (admitted to Jesus College 1885); decorated and annotated musical score belonging to Arthur Hill; and musical scores for the Lady Margaret Valse: 1st violin (x2); 2nd violin; violin; cello & bass; flute & piccolo; 1st & 2nd clarinets; cornetts (sic); and euphonium. Each part has the initials AH at the top corner - presumed to have also belonged to Arthur Hill.
