Typescripts, manuscript notes and drafts of two unpublished essays by Henry Festing Jones. The first is Jones's account of a meeting with Sydney Cockerell (then director of the Fitzwilliam Museum) on 5 May 1928. The second is dated May 1926 and consists of Jones's remarks on W.H. Hudson's book 'Men, Books and Birds' (published 1925), which refers to Samuel Butler.
