Immediate source of acquisition or transfer

The album was the property of Charles Taylor, Master of St John's College, 1881-1908, and the photographs as far as page 15 inclusive were in it when it came into the possession of the College. They have since been rearranged into their present order to make room for other photographs with provenance of J. E. B. Mayor, R. Y. Whytehead, E. P. Gatty, A. G. Greenhill, Dr Luckock, Sir Joseph Larmor, E. A. Benians, the Rev. B. Taylor and the St John's College Debating Society
