Also notes the correspondence he has had with Dr Williams concerning Mrs Walton's Exhibition and his efforts to buy books asked for by WC. Offers advice on study methods and student life in general, including reading, sleeping and drinking. Discusses the purchase of various items for his rooms.

Also included is a brief message of goodwill from WC's grandfather

Dated 12 April 1737. With the signatures and seals of James Barry and Daniel Whitaker. This document possibly relates to Thomas Wilberforce (1668-1742), Mayor of Beverley 1709-12, who had a son called William.
