Visited Beaton's exhibition in London the other day. Hopes he feels as proud of it as he should. Discusses his favourite photographs. Beaton's technique is much surer, his is "just beginning to improve". The farm he lives on is becoming his first love. His father has given him some portraits. Is very pleased that Robert Lowell has returned from one of his "lightning tours". The Lowells now have four Wisharts.
