Address annotated 'just for weekend'.

Have heard news of her from the girls from time to time; excited to hear they may both be coming to England to work. Hopes after so much Hollywood they can stand the climate. Asks after Thalberg, Garbo, Mercedes, Adrian. Lovely summer careering about a great deal-- Rome, South of France, Salzburg, Venice, Passau, then motor trip in Bavaria with the Sitwells. Home only a few days and wired for to come over here again to do some colour photographs for Vogue. Delighted Marge didn't marry whom she thought she might. 'Paris is dull and everyone complains it has lost its gaiety but London's a wow'; hopes she'll come back soon. Leaves in about a month's time for New York again; two months Waldorf Astoria.

In pencil.
