Abstract of unconfirmed Minutes of Council, dated 2nd February 1939, concerning measures in case of a national emergency. Measures include the appointment of J.S. Boys-Smith as Deputy in the event of the Junior Bursar leaving Cambridge, and the removal of valuable manuscripts and records from the Library to the strong room in the new building;
