Copy of will of Felicia Jones, 1731

Attested copy of the will of Felicia Jones, widow of Robert Jones of Gray's Inn, 2 December 1731, with probate 3 March 1739. Robert Jones, by will dated 31 December 1730, bequeathed land at Longeton upon Tearne, Shropshire, to his kinsman Edward Green, and recommended Felicia settle an annuity of £16 from the said land for the benefit of a scholar educated in a school in Shropshire (not specified) and going thence to St John's. To be nominated by Edward Green during his life. Felicia Jones acts accordingly. Various bequests, and the residue to Green. To be buried near her husband in the church of Hornsey, near Highgate, Middlesex.

Containing: 1) copy of the will of Sir Richard Raynes (c.1636-1710), from the Register of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, dated 21 January 1709; 2) extract (undated) from the will of Henry Raines (c.1677-1734) the son of Richard Raines, from the Register of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury; signed "William Brocket of Christ's Hospital" on the reverse

Restoration of Kitchens

Includes: 23 prints of the restoration of the kitchen range and rooms above (c. 1960-1961) showing details of roof beams, rafters and wood deterioration; also includes a B&W print of the west face of the kitchen after restoration and 13 colour prints of the newly refurbished interior of the College Kitchen (1994).
