correspondence concerning the acquisition of a Lady Somerset tankard, 1947-8;

a letter from the Amateur Rowing Association, concerning affiliation to the A.R.A (dated 24th July 1979).

Boys Smith (1901-1991), concerning four minute books covering the period from the foundation of the Society from 1884 to 1921 deposited in the Library; an agenda which includes the choice of speakers for the year 1939-1940; and an undated list of speakers from the Honorary Secretary.

The Council succeeded the old seniority of eight fellows and the master in 1882. The minutes record decisions rather than deliberations, but are far more comprehensive than the Conclusion Books.
