Includes: two notebooks - the first is a catalogue of books held in the 'historical library' (presumably the Old Library) organised alphabetically by author. There are ticks and initials next to some of the entries but there is no key. The second notebook is a borrowers' register for the historical library organised chronologically with the name of the borrower, the author of the book and a short title of the book.
