Williams, R.M.

Ruth Williams was a student at Girton in the early 1960s. She went on to postgraduate research at Imperial College London, then a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Miami before returning to the UK. She worked in particular on the theory of relativity.

Walmsley, M.

Personal correspondence. Mary Walmsley entered Girton College in 1960. She excelled as an undergraduate and went on to research at the Mathematical Institute, Oxford, under C.A. Coulson before moving to the University of Leicester. See also C80, C81.
