Discusses the production. Asks if Beaton is interested in doing any pictures. Discussion of 'R's' book, "Lady L". Would like Beaton to do a jacket for the book. Herve Alphand and his new wife have visited. Discusses other guests. Asks Beaton about his plans for books and plays.

Meant to telephone after leaving Scotland but left a day early to stay with Janet Kidd and Patrick. The house is very enjoyable. Is coming home next weekend.
