This album belonged to W.T. Ritchie, a New Zealander, who came up to St John's in 1901. It comprises photographs of various St John's and Univerity sporting teams and social clubs of which he was a member. Also included are images of various sports matches, including the Varsity Rugby match of 1904. There are a few images of an army camp and views of mountains, probably in New Zealand. Also enclosed is an autograph letter giving a brief biography of Ritchie and the history of the album.

This album belonged to L.H.K. Bushe-Fox. It contains photographs of St John's College Lady Margaret Boat Club (LMBC) crews, tennis and cricket teams, as well as Cambridge University boat crews and Rugby teams. In addition it includes some action pictures of a rugby match and rowing races, including the Boat Race. Very few of the photographs are labelled or dated.
