Forwards a letter from Sally Higginbottom who was baptised by Bill Leah, Chaplain at King's College, with Lyn, and John Saltmarsh for 'godparents'. Claims that Mervyn Stockwood started the process of Sally's conversion. Adds her thoughts about Nicolas Stacey's article. Gives her sister Elsa as an example of a spiritual person who does not like to attend church.

Thanks Lyn for the loan of the Aberdeen University Review, and refers to her interest in Eric Lindlater's personal reminiscences about Professor Jack's inability to repeat the same course of lectures. Wonders whether this has the same causes as his reluctance to publish. Informs her that Professor Jack left Cambridge in 1895 and went to Glasgow. Suggests she ask Peterhouse if they know of an obituary notice.
