Rees-Mogg controversy 1990s

Material relating to an exchange between PFC and William Rees-Mogg in the pages of the Independent in February 1990. Includes pencil notes, original and photocopied newspaper cuttings, and correspondence, including letters to PFC supporting his views.

Hoskin

Correspondence relating to papers of David Hoskin on the Gladstone government, which his family offered to St John's following his death. Includes some correspondence between Hoskin and Prof. T.W. Moody relating to his research and its possible publication.

Labour leadership Attlee to Wilson

Pencil notes for a talk on Labour leaders from Attlee to Wilson, and a letter from the City of London Polytechnic thanking PFC for his talk. Undated, but '1975?' was pencilled on the envelope in which the notes were contained.

Guardian 1969

BBC Churchill

Material relating to a 20-minute talk given by PFC broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 23 October 1976 about Martin Gilbert's biography of Churchill. Includes pencil and typescript versions of the text of the talk.
