'Percy's bust.'

Correspondence relating to the commissioning of a bust of Percy Cradock, instigated by Lord Thomas of Swynnerton. Includes letters between Birthe, Lord Thomas, St John's College, and the sculptor, Angela Conner. Photographs of the work on the bust are included, as well as details of the contributions made to the fund which financed the bust.

Bloomsbury

Bloomsbury author questionnaire; notes and copy editor's corrections; emails relating to a BBC interview; wordcounts and other notes; information relating to book launches (Munro's 6 June; Talisman 11 August; Bloomsbury 1 November) in 2012, and a small amount of feedback from readers.

Proposal and contract

Proposal for the book Winston Churchill and the English-speaking peoples in draft (2008) and fair copy. Contract for the book with Bloomsbury signed 22 February 2010. Note from Bloomsbury dated 2012 congratulating PFC for his third publication with them making him a "frequent author".

Mr Churchill's profession: bib

Bibliographical material relating to Mr Churchill's profession, including photocopies, cuttings, and PFC's pencil notes. The original dates of publication are various and in some cases unknown; but it would have been assembled while the writing of the book was in process, prior to its publication in June 2012.

Tanner memorial 'common sense'

Letter inviting PFC to contribute to a conference to be held at Bangor University in memory of Duncan Tanner, programme for the conference, and copy of PFC's paper for that conference 'The making and remaking of "common sense" about British economy policy'. The paper is word-processed, with manuscript annotations.
