Part of Papers of John Anthony Crook
He notes that Catriona has been recruited to establish a department of English at IMU, where English is poor, particularly among the Chinese students. He bemoans the fact that the IMU is 'flogging' soft learning for tomorrow's doctors and he is tired of hearing students ask, 'How much do I have to know?' He attaches two short poems by Clara (Year3) (2 pages attached)
