A mix of draft typescript, photocopies, and press cuttings of articles, book reviews, obituaries, authored by PFC, or about PFC's works. Many are from the Financial Times, but also the Reader, the Saturday Guardian, the Times Educational Supplement, the IAS Letter, and the Bookseller. A small amount of related correspondence is included. Pencil lists of articles in the Financial Times and the London Review of Books are also present.

Ottowa conference

Programme and speaker biographies for the 50th anniversary of Canadian citizenship conference, held in Ottowa 14-16 February 1997, to which PFC contributed a paper 'Canadian exceptionalism through British spectacles'. Some draft text is included, together with some heavily annotated text from another publication (chapter 10, pages 423-4 and 428-33), mostly relating to immigration, race and nationalism, which seems to be unrelated.
