Reports on his activities, including playing football, teaching Greek and musical appreciation, cultivating an allotment with Dick Morgan and four others, and playing in the Orchestra for ' The Mikado'. Mentions that Mrs Hulbert sent him a letter and a copy of the 'Countryman', the best part of which was seeing 'the old advertisements from home'. Expects to receive his November parcel soon.
