Ten people seated and standing in a garden, including C.L. Holthouse. According to 'The history of the Lady Margaret Boat Club 1825-1926' the First May Boat 1908 comprised L.R.D. Anderson, H.A.L. Laidlaw, C.L. Holthouse, H.F. Russell Smith, R. Meldrum, J.W. Henslow, J. Fraser, and J.M. Short. The photograph also features L.H.K. Bushe Fox, the coach.
