Bound in one hardcover volume (bearing the bookplate of A.T. Bartholomew).The typescript pages (pp.1-97, 116-18, 147-65) contain autograph corrections and annotations in Butler's hand, and a few corrections made by Alfred Cathie. The volume is prefaced (dated 26 February 1900) and indexed (pp.166-75) by Butler.
