Has been visited by a Mr Collins who has recently met a Thomas Barrett in Manchester who collects accounts of other Barretts. His son has recently published an article which he has bound. The memoirs of Robert Grossteste, compiled by SP, are to be published soon and he will send TB a copy. Wishes to be remembered to a few friends in Kent. Has been ill and is therefore not getting out much.

His memoirs of the Life of Robert Grosseteste is at last completed by Mr Nichols, the delay due to other publications which Mr Nichols has been producing. Is now very shortsighted.
