Congratulates Mitton on his life of FH. Has experienced first-hand the tensions between (some) theoretical astronomers and observer-cum-astronomers as are described in Mitton's book. It is not confined to Cambridge, but is a British phenomenon. He attended the first Lunar Sciences Conference in Houston in Jan. 1970, at which FH was the after-dinner speaker. He encloses a transcript of FH's talk. See 6/18/2
