Assorted photographs of Cradock in professional capacities.

Photographs in various formats, taken in various locations, of Cradock, his wife, and others, at social and formal occasions. At least one photograph was taken in Potsdam, presumably while Cradock was posted in Germany, several appear to date from the time of the Hong Kong negotiations. One photograph of an unidentified group is in a wallet labelled Singapore.

'Britain's new ambassador at Peking.

Two copies, 8.5" x 6.5" and 7" x 5", of official portrait shot of Cradock, issued for British Information Services by the Photographs Division, Central Office of Communication, London, taken on his appointment as ambassador in 1978.

Collection of assorted colour and black and white prints taken in and around the British Embassy at Peking, before, during and after the storming of the embassy. Prints of the Office of the British Charge d'Affaires in June 1966, crowds outside the Chancery Building in summer 1966, the ruined interior of the British Mission in August 1967, and staff outside the Registry door in October 1967 are all reproduced in Cradock's book 'Experiences of China'.
