Informs Glover that since Bushe-Fox died, Gregory is a Captain in the army and A. Y. Campbell may be called up at any time, Sikes is the only tutor and classical lecturer left in the College. Explains that Leathem feels that if Glover takes a lecture tour in America, he should finance it himself as it cannot be considered War work. Reports that there has been severe weather bringing down twenty trees in the College grounds, and New Court is full of soldiers, the drum and pipe band practicing incessantly in the old Chemical Laboratory.
