David Garnett. Autograph letter signed to Beaton, from Huntingdonshire.

Thanks Beaton for his letter inviting him to see his film "The Sailors Return". Asks who Beaton's Tulip is and if he could meet her. Beaton is not the first in the field. Gives examples of those who have tried it and failed. Will not be surprised if violent thunderstorms or a total eclipse over England raged over the weekend.
