Part of Papers of Sir Cecil Beaton
Writes that he is impatient to return to England as so much in New York reminds him of Garbo, even 'John Gunther and his brand new wife'. Thanks Garbo for allowing him to visit her in California. Describes his train journey back to New York. Details his activities since returning to New York. Refers to Miss Cleghorn. Reports George Cukor has brought word from England that Alexander Korda is keen to produce any film that Garbo and George would like to do. Advises Garbo to rest and not to 'allow any black and white troubles' to upset her. Postscript: Invites Garbo to sail to England with him.
