Writing in his capacity as Literary Editor of The Nation, he informs Lyn that he has shown her letter to Mr Wright and counsels her against going to the publishers, as their disapproval is for The Nation as a whole and not just Lyn's criticism of H.M. Tomlinson. Goes on to praise her articles and suggest that she should write on a variety of publications.
