Inserted loose at the relevant points in the book are: a cutting from the Radio Times 15/2/1951 including a photograph of the author; an original photograph of 40 Mill Road, Eastbourne; an original photograph of 38 Mill Road, Eastbourne; an original photograph of Mrs Coulton and her two daughters; a photograph of the Coulton family at Fourmile House, Shelford; a small 8 page leaflet advertising Coulton's works; a photographic postcard of Coulton in Canada, with inscription from Coulton giving greetings for 1943 to a Mr and Mrs Wilson; a brief handwritten note, cancelled; 8 typewritten sheets headed "extracts from my diary" from May 1910 to July 1911, from Eastbourne and Cambridge, apparently compiled by F. Louise White, part-time secretary and nanny employed by Coulton.

Published text of a public lecture given by Coulton in 1930. Enclosed is a printed 'postscript' reproducing correspondence between Coulton and Fr. R.A. Knox, and two manuscript letters to Coulton from A.E.Taylor dated December 1932.
