Conference in honour of J.A. Green's 80th birthday

The second page is headed 'The LOW Study Group on Algebraic Lie Theory'.

TLS air letter dated 24 Apr 1961 from Sir William Hodge, Master of Pembroke College Cambridge to JAG, Princeton. Regrets that JAG has not accepted a post in Cambridge and understands the stated reasons. Commiserates about ‘inflexible arrangements’ at Cambridge and asks that he be allowed to use JAG’s letter as evidence in attempts to remedy the situation
