Marked inside cover Cedric Price Form IIB [at Alleyne's Grammar School]. Manuscript notes, diagrams, and drawings in ink, biro, pencil and coloured pencil. Largely unused: four leaves at front, three at back, one window doodle in middle.

Foolscap-sized book used from both ends (a) flyleaf inscribed 'Cedric Price, 1943, Wayside, Lichfield Rd, STONE. his book', followed by pencil, ink and watercolour doodles and drawings, and a few pages of a story which peters out in chapter IV (33 leaves); (b) [inverted] newspaper cuttings of manhunts and murder trials, c.1946-47, with some loose cuttings (63 leaves).

'The new crime digest & bright comic' Vol.1, no.4. Published by "Chasan" Co Ltd, [publisher unknown: possibly a schoolboy invention, the paper compiled from various sources?]. Appearance is as xerograph office publication typical of the time. Two corrections in blue ink. No illustrations.
