Children's story paper

'The new crime digest & bright comic' Vol.1, no.4. Published by "Chasan" Co Ltd, [publisher unknown: possibly a schoolboy invention, the paper compiled from various sources?]. Appearance is as xerograph office publication typical of the time. Two corrections in blue ink. No illustrations.

"Chasan product" pamphlets

Small bundle of fliers advertising 'high class duplication' for greetings cards, tickets, programmes, addressed envelopes and notepaper 'from a branch of the Chasan organization'. Likely to be a schoolboy enterprise.

Bundle of six exercise books dating from CP's time at Alleyne's Grammar School: History, Form 3, issued 19 June 1947; Latin notes, Form 4A, issued January 1948; Chemistry (includes some fine careful drawings and diagrams), Form 4A, issued 15 Sept. 1948; History, Form 4A, issued 29 Sept. 1948; History, Form 5A, issued 14 Sept. 1949; Mathematics, Form VIA, issued 1 June 1950. Cover labels from the school, with CP's annotations.

Speech Day programmes for 5 June 1947 (CP in Second Year prize list), 10 June 1948 (CP awarded multiple prizes), 2 June 1949 (CP awarded Fourth Year prize for all-round excellence) and 27 May 1952 (CP received prize for Upper Sixth Science); 55th Annual Athletic Sports programme for 14 July 1949, with some results inked in by CP.
