Notes that Samuel Butler's 'offensive picture' 'Family Prayers' is to be exhibited in College. Suggests that by doing this the College is endorsing Butler's feelings towards family prayers and religion in general. Hopes that the Council will consider others feelings and put the picture 'out of sight' with the rest of Butlers works. Attached is a typed section of Picture's Committee Minutes.
