Regrets Lyn's decision to write about her grandmother, Fanny Kemble, because she feels that Kemble's Georgia Journal was unjust, particularly regarding her grandfather and his involvement in slavery. Tells Lyn to contact the Dents of Hofyl Plantation, and to visit Sea Island. Offers to detail the last years of Kemble's life when Lyn returns to England.
