Also includes a single manuscript letter, dated January 1965, in which Hose describes going to see the body of Winston Churchill (1874-1965), lying in state inside Westminster Hall for the three days prior to his state funeral at St. Paul's Cathedral on the 30th January 1965.

Includes autograph, manuscript letters concerning a summer cruise aboard the yacht of Cécile de Rothschild (1913-1995), with other guests, including Greta Garbo (1904-1990); a trip to Venice; and discussions with the magazine editor and publisher, Alexander Liberman (1912-1999), regarding Beaton's work for 'Vogue' magazine.
