Registers mainly of copies of leases and other deeds of property up to 1817.

Volumes may also contain copies of letters of attorney, patents of bailiffs, documents connected with legacies and benefactions, presentations to livings, letters testimonial and, before 1817, deeds such as copies of conveyances and agreements other than leases.

From 1609-1741, indexes are of names of lessees. From 1741, there is also an index of places.
