Appointment as Master: Shorton

Letter, Robert Shorton, Cambridge to John Fisher, thanking Fisher for his appointment as Master of SJC & discussing the choice of the first Fellows. There is also mention of receipt of £1000.

Computus of Robert Shorton

Includes: The computus (account roll) for building the College and a later copy from 1638. The copy lists an inaccurate start date for the original roll. A copy of the computus in the Register of Inventories [SJAR/6/2/1] giving 31 January as the start date is almost contemporary with the original roll.
